HAPPY NEW YEAR 2023
Dear Members,
Before we embark on this new year of 2023, I'd like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for all you have done in 2022. You have cared for others, shown empathy, sympathy and compassion when others did not. Some of you even did it without noticing. This is because God's Love is in you, and doing unto others as you would have them do unto you is instinctive in you. You don't have to think about helping others, it just happens naturally. We need more of this from you in 2023. And if you are one of those who perhaps took sick or had a troubled 2022 like so many did, and you feel you didn't do anything, or not enough, do not allow your hearts to be burdened by this. God makes all things new. The old is gone and the new is now here. The beauty of the chaplain task force is that it's like a small army. Where some may lack, or even slack, there are others going beyond the call of duty and taking the entire team with them across the finish line of success. We lost a number of members in 2022. May God rest their souls and comfort their loved ones, and may their memories carry us to new heights. We are more than proud of our Executive Board Members, Advisory Board Members, Supervisors, Instructors and special advisors. They have remained faithful to God and loyal to our cause. Our communities need us. They need our light in times of darkness. Our presence in times of loneliness. A listening ear when they need to be heard, and our words of comfort when they feel nobody cares. I leave this prayer with each of you as we enter 2023... May the Lord our God keep us, heal us, strengthen us and bestow upon us a spirit of courage to do what others may think impossible. All for the glory of God and the betterment of humanity. Amen.
Very Respectfully,
